I have all of my music on a seprate media drive in my mac pro. I want to make a few smart playlists on my MP and have them automatically sync to my touch.

Now, I also have a MacBook Pro (haha, I'm on my touch right now,and it automatically capitalized "MacBook Pro"). This computer has no music/movies on it, so if I want to play anything, I'll do it through my iPod. I also charge it through my MBP sometimes. Is there a way to keep it auto syncing with the MP?

Seems you really just want to keep it charged on the MBP and only sync with the MacPro?

You can do that. Just don't select OK (I can't remember the dialog - it's obvious what it's asking though) when it asks you if you want to sync when you connect it to the MBP.

If you really want to sync with multiple computers, apparently over at MacWorld they've done so with an iPhone - here's a video
