Is it possible to dual boot Linux into Macbook pro 13 2011 base model?

    Topic says it all,i want to install the Pardus 2011 distro of linux in my 2011 macbook pro for learning porpuses, is it possible? have any of you guys do it?

    you need a boot loader, i use rEFIt refit.sourceforge.net/

    If he uses Linux and has no intention of using windows, I don't think he needs rEFIt, am I wrong?

    He needs it, otherwise how will he boot to the linux partition?

    I figured he'd use bootcamp assistant to make a partition, then using a live disc or thumb drive setup linux on that partition.

    Maybe that doesn't work, I haven't tried, which is exactly why I'm asking.
