is it possible to flash a geforce 8800 gt for 2007 mac pro octo-core?

I remember i got it in late 2007, right when the first 8 core was released.
It has the colvertown processors @ 3ghz.

I got a old geforce 8800 GT laying around, and i was wondering if i can use it to upgrade my 1900xt.

    Any ideas?

Yes. It has to have the proper-size ROM chip, though.

Look for the thread titled "8800 GT EFI32 ROM" here.

Run your cursor over the words TS put in parentheses.

    Hit "Copy"

    Go to the search window.

    Hit "Paste"

5th one down is the thread by that name.

    Read it.
