Is it possible to get lock screen widgets with a solid background color onto my lock screen?

I want a weather widget as shown on the left with a blue background color, onto my screen and also have a background color depending on the weather. It could help catch my attention if its raining or something.

It's not possible to put Home Screen widgets on the Lock Screen.

Best you can do is to use the Weather wallpaper. The wallpaper would then be showing whatever the weather is currently doing (sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, raining, snowing, etc.)

Thanks, I'll take more answers still though. I'd rather not since I prefer the stock iOS 16 wallpaper. Another solution that would work for me is to add the widget to the bottom left corner of my home screen, where I have Safari in my dock, since that's the app I use the most on my iPhone.

Only way to put widgets at the bottom of the Home Screen is if you have enough app icons to push it down. Can’t have it floating down there all by itself. Would need at least 16 app icons (or fill the screen with other widgets).

Now it’s not entirely impossible… There are 3rd party apps that can make “clear” or “transparent” widgets to achieve this. These apps essentially just create a widget using an image from that part of the wallpaper, so they become invisible when placed in the right spot. They work best when using custom wallpaper and disabling the perspective zoom or parallax effect. Not sure how well they’d work with the stock iOS 16 wallpaper, if at all. Probably would need to download a still image of it and use that instead.

If you want your lockscreen widgets to have a solid font, you will have to change your clock font and color in the edit screen. It’s either all or nothing though, meaning if you change your clock font color it will be the same for everything else. You can change it from the default transparent to either a solid font or it gives you different color options to choose from with varying hues.
