Hello everyone,

I would love to hook up my Nintendo 64 to my iMac as a display at my desk to play games. I do not like the lag of many emulators. Is there a way to do this? any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, it is possible and I have done this in the past.

One way would be a Composite to USB adapter cable, but I would try to find one that had S-Video like this one:

You will also need some type of video capturing software, you might be better off buying a product that came with its own video capture software.

Thank you for responding. What type of software do you mean? I don’t understand what video capturing software does? Sorry.
