Is it possible to install the release candidate and then update to the final released version on monday, without clean install?

Regarding Golden Gate, is it possible to install the release candidate and then update to the final released version on monday?

I am asking because sometimes beta releases or RC releases can't be updated to the final version that easily or even require a complete clean install.

Does anyone know for sure how that works?

Usually the RC >is< the released version, so no, you can’t “update” to it. You can turn off beta and then update when 27.0.1 comes out.

There have been instances where there’s a slight change between RC and release, but it’s rare.
