I have upgrade my mac mini m1 to a 16 GB version . Now I just realize I am missing CPU power. I am wondering if its possible to link both of the to gain more CPU power ?
I need 8 to 12 High performance core to be all set. So I will for sure keep the 16 GB mac mini that I just order. My 8 GB mac mini will be sent to my dad. But I was wondering ( because those new powerfull chip will only come in some months ) If i could do this for the moment.
yes out of luck for now. I have downscale some of my Graph and real time calculation to be ok with my main 16gb mac. I will take it easy till those new super Mac come out. I wish they can put a 12 high efficient core in a mac mini 🙂

Apple used to have an application called Xgrid for distributed computing support support. I vaguely recall it required a minimum of 3 computers to function.
Xgrid was one of the many victims of the dumbing down of the Mac platform over the years.
