Is it possible to open more than one VLC player on mac?

    i tried to find "Allow only one instance" and "Use only one instance when started from file manager" but can't even find it in my preferences

    Go to Applications, select VLC, press CMD+D and there you have your copy.
    You can drag that copy to your Dock, rename it, and even have it available in the OPEN WITH menu.

    Yes, that works,
    does CMD D copy??

    It duplicates, saves you the time to press CMD+C and CMD+V.
