To the point, no one has commented on my post yet. I am certain there has been a move AWAY from jumpers to software.... who can back me up and tell us which processors utilise this technology???

I know the G3 Sahara uses software to adjust clock speed.

Yeah, I thought it was definately the iBooks so the iMac G4 is probably still a jumper job

okay, you are right, and i am sorry... it's just if you dont' know what you are doing, obstain from doing it! the only productive part is, if you screw up, apple's stock gets to go up by 0.00000000000000000001 cents from ur purchase of a new iMac G4!

LOL... well, if we buy lots of Apple stock and then convince plenty of people to do it, we will make lots of money and Apple will have more funds to research FAR better computers.
