Is it possible to only partially restore an iPhone from an iTunes backup? More specifically, is it possible to only restore selected apps/photos/data from the backup instead of restoring the entire phone wholesale? I was having problems with my iPhone 6s so I brought it into an Apple store and they were kind enough to replace it. I backed up the phone prior to the store visit so I have a full iTunes backup available. However, I have been restoring phones since the iPhone 4, so I decided to use the opportunity to do a clean install of new apps, installing only what I want. Many of my apps can be logged into and information I need is stored in the cloud and can be brought down without issue. But a few of the old apps had info stored locally and I would like to restore those handful of apps and perhaps some other data piecemeal (such as voicemails/photos which were saved not he phone). I would prefer not to restore the phone from the backup wholesale. Can this be done? Anyone who has done it have any guidance or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
