Is it possible to record iPhone 4s video directly into iMovie or Final Cut Pro X?

Heyo,

So, I've searched around a lot and I think that it's not possible, but just to be sure, I thought I'd ask. The camera on the 4s is so amazing that I'm using it more and more for casual things, and I'd love to be able to record that video right into FCP X or iMovie on my computer - is that at all possible? Is there anyway using the iPhone iMovie app could allow this to a certain extent?

I wouldn't use the word impossible. But as of this moment, no. There's no way to do it. Would be neat though.
