Is it possible to search Thunderbird emails with Spotlight Search?

Hello, I'm new to this forum so apologies if this is in the incorrect place. I am using the Yosemite Beta, and I have not figured out how to use Spotlight Search to search my Thunderbird emails. Can this be done? Thanks!
