I use Bento on two Macs, but find it very frustrating not being able to sync the two. Is there a way to do this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
There's no built-in way to do that. However, you should be able to sync it using a service such as Dropbox (http://www.getdropbox.com).
By default, the Bento database is located in ~/Library/Application Support/Bento. If you hold Option when you start Bento, you'll be able to choose another database location. Sync the database using Dropbox, point both Bento instances to the database, and it'll probably work.
A few notes:
1. I haven't tested this at all, so I'm just guessing here.
2. Don't have Bento open on both computers at the same time. I can pretty much guarantee that something will get screwed up.
3. This may cause wonky things to happen with your iCal and Address Book libraries, so you may want to disable them.
4. Backup your database before trying anything.
