Is it possible to upgrade to AppleCare theft + loss after 60 days for my iPhone 16?

Unfortunately it is now after the 60 day window. However, I have read about taking it into store for inspection - would this work in order to upgrade from standard AppleCare to theft + loss?

I currently just have the standard AppleCare+

You should go to an Apple store or contact customer support and find out.. It can't hurt to ask

are you saying that you are worried about the phone being lost or stolen from you?

I'm actually wondering about the opposite. I have the AppleCare with loss and theft and want to downgrade to just regular AppleCare...
