I have a clip someone created of my artwork years ago. it is about sculpting b. b. King and bill monroe and willie nelson. However there is far too much of me talking and I would really like to put pictures in where I am talking. I want to keep my voiceover in the video but add some more pics of the celebs? can i do this in I movie? I might also like to add some of their music behind my voice. Is that too much for this program? I must say I know nothing about I movie and just had my old video footage digitized. Sure wish I could find a great place to get educated about all of this, but then you guys always do such a good job of helping. Thanks, Bridgete

Well if it's perfectly possible in iMovie 6 (which came with iLife '06). My Dad does exactly this sort of thing all the time. Extract the audio into a separate track and drop in your iPhoto pictures from the media browser. For the background music, drop it into the second audio track. Once you get the hang of it, it's not just easy, it's addictive! :)

I am not sure, however, if it is possible in iMovie 7 (which came with iLife '08), as I've no experience of this. However, I do know that Apple removed a lot of the functionality going from 6 to 7, so what you ask may not be possible in 7.

However, if you have iLife '08, then you can download iMovie 6 for free from Apple.

Everyone wins!

Good Luck!
