iPhone Is it possible to use the old YouTube app in ios6

Im probably the only person on the planet that likes the original YouTube app over the new google app

Any word if any hacker is working on this. With a jailbreak?
I read people are trying to port the ios 5 maps to ios 6
But i don't use maps

I like the old YouTube app

The no volume slider in the new app just bugs me , also the ads
I prefer the old layout

i second that. i upgraded my wifes 4s to ios6 and dont really like the new utube app. guess we've to wait for the JB.

Yes it's already in Cydia. Someone ported it over from iOS 6 Beta 3.

And I believe the google maps app maybe ported sooner or later as well.

I don't like the Youtube iPhone app but I like the iPad app as it lets you read comments at the same time as watching a video which you can't do on the mobile youtube site. I would imagine when youtube releases their iPad app that you will be able to read comments.

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for but in my opinion ProTube is the best YouTube replacement app. If you can't get the old app working you could always look into ProTube.

I use both protube for downloading but it has the same layout as the webpage
