Is it real that iphone 5 has so many problems?

I’ve been considering replacing my iphone 4 with the new iphone 5, the first thing I like about it is the screen size (apple expanded it) while so many people said that new version seems not great enough: camera purple flare problem, the fragile housing and the map issue…My iphone 4 works fine with me, but I just don’t know if I should get a new iphone 5? What do you guys think?😱
