is it safe to connect iPhone to external HDD that have multiple partition ?

The external HDD I have has NTFS, macOS extended and FAT32 partition.
Will it harm the NTFS partition ?

I want to move some data from the macOS extended to iPhone.

As far as I know, the iPhone will not bne able to read the NTFS partition, but I do not think that it will format it. So I do not see any problem.

I tried it and it can read NTFS, eXFAT and macOS journaled in a single HDD.
