Is it the iPhone 8 or the iPhone 7S that is coming out?

I look at the rumor mill, macrumors, and see a lot of buzz around no physical home button, OLED, etc. surrounding iPhone 8, though there are also references to 7S. What is actually coming out this year? Is it this year's iPhone that will have all these things?

10th Anniversary Edition iPhone 8 or iPhone Pro final,name unknown. 5.8" OLED display is known.
No home button minimal bezels so it may end being about the same size as the 4.7" iPhone 7 since that has a lot of bezel and a Home Button.

But every phone refresh followed the traditional path until the iPhone 7. The cycle is broken.

Everybody keeps maintaining it's 'the same form factor'. I'm sure you've noticed! Regardless, it is different. How different is a point of contention. What is undebatable is that Apple consider it a new form factor, therefore it'll likely be the 7S this year.

I hope I'm wrong of course. I want to see delicious new tech as soon as possible. 7S & new iPhone form factor released simultaneously would be the best of both worlds. But it would be very unlikely for Apple to break their S cycle and pipeline just to adhere to some 10th anniversary.
 
An article from www.tech.com said that Apple company will release Iphone7s rather than iphone8. Because they do not want to break the tradition. And there will be a special edition(but not called iphone8) to celebrate the 10th anniversary.
 
Right now I am currrently in the best spot. Both my iPhone 6S Plus and iPad 9.7 Pro are the best devices I've ever had. They are fast and just work beautifully. I've been in the Apple mode since the iPhone 3G. Usually I like to trade up every couple of years.

I would love to see a pro version of the iPhone with the ability to use the Pencil. That's all I want.

I think we will get the regular 7S upgrade with wireless charging and perhaps better water resistance. And then on the side they'll launch "iPhone Pro", or something with a similar marketing name (Air perhaps?), which will in essence be the iPhone 8 at a higher than price than 7S, but it will loose the number so they can restart from 1. It will annoy Samsung, and iPhone 19 sounds stupid anyway. :p
 
For OP: There is a galaxy( sorry) of info available on what Apple will probably do this year.
 
There is rumoured to be an iPhone 7S (in both 4.7" and 5.5") for those who don't want or can't spend the high price tag of the iPhone 8, then there will be the iPhone 8 which will probably have all the new features, OLED display, wireless charging and so on.

Do you have a source for this 5.8" OLED display confirmation?
 
A new phone sure coming out in Sept or Oct or anytime.

But how it actual look like or actual name, nothing can be confirmed as still too earlier now.

Every company is releasing new phone every year.
