i was thinking of naming my macbook, has anybody else done this? haha and sorry if i sound like a creep haha
 
haha i don't know i just feel like me and this computer are going to go through college and i am really getting attached to it haha
 
Is it weird? If you ask me, yes.

I cannot think why anyone would personally name their material posessions, outside of the default (like <X>'s iPad) that you type in when it asks, to identify the device belongs to you.

Would you really think to yourself "I need to do some browsing or type up an essay on Berty." ?
 
I think it's weird. Are you female? My wife named her car which I think is weird. So what happens when it dies or needs replacing? Will you have a funneral for it?
 
My devices are all called by my first name, followed by what they actually are. I don't get sentimental about technology....it's there to do its job!
 
Go outside. .see the world .share experiences,socialize .once you become part of the normal people the idea of naming a computer will start sounding retarded to you
