I recently bought a 2nd hand iPhone SE of ebay with battery health at 93%, i intend keeping this phone as my backup and work phone, do you think it worth changing out the battery or is 93% still considered decent as it still saying peak performance?

I don't think it's worth changing it.

There's more to battery health than capacity. Mine shows capacity is 95% yet it was unable to deliver peak power and thus performance management is being applied.

I would wait till you get one of those unexpected shutdown performance management messages before replacing it.

I just bought a used SE end of January coming from a 6S plus, love the size but the battery did drain fast. I bought both a battery case and a replacement battery. Battery case was a bit bulky but I used it for a month just fine, still easier to carry than the plus sized phone. Had time this last weekend and changed the battery, wasn't hard to do at all.

Been using it just over a week and it's amazing how long it stays charged now with the same usage, well worth replacing but if the drainage is acceptable there's no hurry.

Just got a battery replaced on an old SE that I use as an iPod touch for working out etc. My battery was in the 80’s% and I noticed it draining faster than normal. The new battery fixed that. At 93% though I would wait.

The maximum capacity on my 8 Plus is currently 89% (16 months old) and I'm having no noticeable issues.
