You can still get at least $100 for it because that particular model has cult like status as a server. It has the second top i7, two SSDs I installed (256GB and 500GB Samsung SSDs), 16GB of RAM I installed.
I mean, do they actually sell at all today, or you might as well keep it?
I thought it was cheap, then I saw they also included 2 monitors...that's just insane.I see one for sale locally, this is copied from the ad.
They're asking $350. Personally I would just keep it, use it as a media or music server

I do need the money (I am officially poor now), but the amount I would get is just so low that I can't make myself sell it. Not that I am using it. I was using it for FCP only, then several years ago (2017?) Apple came with an upgraded engine or whatever it was which just destroyed the performance and I just gave up on it and moved all my editing to my main PC. A Windows 10 now PC that is, 9 years old and while it was top of the line (i7 5960X) when I got it, it is now under the minimum requirements for Vegas Pro...yeah.Yeah, I have the top 2.6ghz quad 2012 Mini with original Apple SSD and used it pretty heavily with Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. Before the 2018 Mini was introduced, these fetched a good price and were even a bit hard to find at times. But that all changed in 2018 when the base i3 had the same geekbench rating with much faster everything else. Then Apple Silicon completely changed it all again.
Mine is now a headless fileserver with four 5-tb external disks, used for time machine backups and archival storage. Not worth selling unless you really need the few bucks you'd get.
Ebay I like, but yeah prices can be...let's say interesting.Macsales OWC is asking $69,00 for the 2012 Mac mini i5 with price bumps for extra speed, ram etc.
i'm using my i7 Macmini for watching sports downstairs with a headphone jack to a nice speaker of sound.
oh ebay sellers are unrealistic in pricing I have noticed lately on MacBooks and mini's.
IEBay giveth,Ebay I like, but yeah prices can be...let's say interesting.
I should have included the picture they had, here it is. It's a wired keyboard but all this for $75 would be perfect for someone wanting to get into macos.I thought it was cheap, then I saw they also included 2 monitors...that's just insane.
Thanks.
What a shame, I guess there is no point in selling it if I get as much as I will pay for the shipping costs.
