Welp, there goes 9/22 date because Apple's site crapped out on me. I am thoroughly pissed now.

This happens every year. The Apple Store app on iPhone or iPad always comes up way closer to 12:01 AM PDT than does their website when accessed on a computer.

what's your delivery date? I just used the store app and bought it. and now the browser page is also ready.

Edit: computer browser still says 9/22 delivery, btw. At least for now..

Yeah, Apple Store app was the way to go. I had put a watch and an ATV in my favorites ahead of time. Store went live with the app at 1:02. Went to favorites, sent to bag, paid with ApplePay. Done by 1:03. Next Friday delivery for both. Store didn't go live until 1:07 via browser.

All set - Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular, 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel Case with Space Black Milanese Loop

Plus two 64GB 4K Apple TVs

Verizon store still isn't up. I want the free 3 months LTE or I would've used Apple store.

Black SS with black sport band / Apple Care / Charcoal Leather Loop Band / AppleTV 4K all purchased. 9/22 delivery.

I have 9/22 delivery also. Actually, the Apple TVs are being delivered. I'll stop by the Apple Store to pick the watch up in the morning because I like the experience and I won't be happy if I miss the UPS driver and have to wait until the following week to get it.

Okay... 3:31AM on the east coast. Time for bed!!!

Me too. Pretty excited for the 4K Apple TV. Got lucky this time with preorder, hoping this continues with iPhone X in October.

Based upon the fact that times have already slipped only 44 min into ordering...if you want it on launch day, you get up.

Definitely not it seems as stock is high and shipping times are only a couple weeks.

Launch day for a watch isn't as fun as for a phone for me.

I slept in :)

People must be saving $ for the iPhone X. :D
I wonder, that seems to be the concensus but will a 1,000 phone be such a hot commodity? Also consider if the iPhone X is a major success for Apple - will this be the new normal - phones being priced at 1,000?

Every Watch I looked at has slipped to a minimum of 2 weeks. I’d say your link is incorrect. Or maybe actually read it, since this thread is about the watch and it specifically states that dates have slipped.
Evidently you didn't look at every watch then

Did I say every watch, or every watch I looked at (ones representing the true initial popularity of the Series 3)? Good job pulling an example of a model that is certainly not going to be all that in demand at 3AM due to it not having LTE though.
