lots of ram is good, especially if you have a lot of apps / pro apps / dashboard widgets running. i have 1GB in mine at the moment and dont really need more, as everything runs faster than i could want at the moment. maybe in the future, i would consider upgrading the ram, but not yet.

That was my initial thinking.. but then I came upon this:
