you would be the first one to ever do this!

My Apple store is in an outdoor mall and they said security will not allow people to camp. You can start lining up at 6am they said, and they open at 7.

Anyone else hear about the same type of rule?

Yeah i herd of that before, it was the same at the shopping centre near me for the new harry potter book.

No need to camp bro iPhone 4 = hype + kool-aid man . Stocks will be plentiful on launch day + you know how much apples rev. A products are so this one will be rittled with issues.

I heard Palm and Samsung make good phones

I feel with all the hype and the information coming from mac rumors it would be safe to camp out for one just incase this information is true

I waited in line 5 hours 2 years ago for my 3G. I thought that was crazy. Camping for a phone is just nuts, IMO.

When people talk about having camped out in the past, I don't hear anyone adding "and I really regret the time I wasted" - so I would say 'why not? You probably don't regret it..'

Wrong? No. Stupid? Yep. It's a phone. Will your life end if you don't get the very first one? Seriously are people so shallow that they need to be the first to buy a gadget?Millions of people are going to own one, you're not unique.

In the future I would pre-order for delivery on launch day

i thought people where nuts going to the shop at stupid o'clock, that was until my 3g dident get delivered like it should of done i was gutted. will alsways go to the shop from now on

Erm, did you just call the iPhone ->4<- a Rev A product?

i would never but its obvious this year is different as the ATT store behind my house will be allowing it and there will be a Police officer in the parking lot. A ATT person told me someone with a camper is showing up. There is a restaurant near the ATT store and they will offer drink/food all night. This is pretty insane if you ask me.

The mall where the Apple store is has forbid anyone to be camping out in the lot. A cop will be patrolling and shoo'ing anyone that attempts to camp. So... the line starts at 5am. But a cop will ticket anyone that sits in the lot from 11pm-5am i was warned.

Wally World I guess you could camp out but they are only getting a "limited" amount that will sell out in the first 1/2hr they said.
