Is iTunes down?

Seems like iTunes may be down? Searching for apps that need updating takes forever on my iphone or ipad, and whenever I download a new app or update an app, it says I typed in a wrong Apple ID or password, but I know my password works fine because I logged into my Apple ID on appleid.apple.com. Also, when I try to log into my account on iTunes, it just hangs and then says that "we can not complete your iTunes request," and when I download an app on iTunes on my mac, it gives me a 2001 error.

I'm on the iTunes store in iTunes without any problems... Odd

I can get on the store no problem. The problem comes when I want to download/update an app or view my account information. I am sure I would have the same problem if I were to try downloading a song or video.

I've just tried viewing my account information, and could with no problems! Haven't tried downloading app/music though.

Perhaps this depends on location? I'm in the UK.
