Is Klipsch Image S4i compatible with LifeProof Gen-2 Case?

I am planning to buy Klipsch Image S4i as well as LifeProof Gen-2 case. I was wondering if these two are compatible with each other. I heard that not all earphones fit into the earphone jack port of LifeProof Gen-2 case.

you can always just get a small adapter like this one:

Goodcans iphone adapter

This is what I do with my grados which are too big for any case I've tried. And there are similar ones available on amazon for even cheaper.

They have an adapter that is included with the case, but I feel like that is more of an inconvenience. I'm wondering if I can get by without it.
