is macbook pro 13' a poor buy at this time

I have read that the MacBook air is an Ipad with keyboard; so, don't belive everything you read, buy whatever you need and enjoy.

All the MacBooks are excellent, and you can choose from many options.

I don't like the way the macbook air looks tbh

I just bought a 13in mbp over an air.
The fact i can buy aftermarket upgrades made the price (at least the initial investment) much cheaper than maxing out an air with apple
That said I need 8GB RAM and SDD for my work as a visual creative.
I know 15" would be better but as a student I simply can't afford it.

I think I will appreciate the higher clocked CPU in the Pro in the long run for things like exporting and photoshop. Compared to an air, I also like the colors on a pro screen.

The resolution on 13" pro makes the screen real estate a bit small, but the pixel density is still higher than the 15"

I just have a few questions to ask you guys

1. My keyboard keeps lighting up even when it is bright. How do i turn it off?

2. Whenever my laptop goes to sleep, i have to enter my password, how do i turn that feature off?

3. I put 8gb ram from crucial in the macbook pro but i am not sure if i done it properly? How would i know if i inserted it properly even if says 8gb on about this mac?

1. Two of the F keys at the top control the keyboard brightness. Just turn it down till it goes off.

3. It wouldn't turn on if it wasn't done properly.
