Greetings more Apple versed developers than I. I am over the next 3-5 years going to be finally putting my game together after getting a good chunk of my 3D models built, scenes designed, story and story board finalised, and well everything seems to be ready so I can just happily code away.
Now I am evaluating SceneKit vs Unity(which I have already built a demo that works but I don't like c# as much as Swift). However when evaluating SceneKit, everything I find is all iOS focus and even worse a lot of it is about AR.
Is iOS SceneKit compatible with macOS SceneKit?
Is there a good tutorial on point and click or even just 3rd person game design in general?
Is SceneKit even the right tool for building a native macOS game?
