Is mass selecting photos by swiping a new feature?

    I was just cleaning up some photos/screenshots from my Photos library and was using some swipe gestures to see if it did anything, and to my surprise you can select a photo on the left and swipe right in edit mode and it allows you to qiuickly select photos in bulk. Continuing swiping down vertically also selects the rows below it rather quick.

    Was this in iOS 9? I usually would sit in agony clicking each one :p.

    Well at least I finally discovered this, thanks. So much, SO much easier.

    I only found out about this feature about 2 weeks before iOS 10 was announced it's so useful.

    Yeah, its the little things that boost productivity which is kind of the same to me as having short cut commands on OS X.
