Is MBA sufficient or is rMBP needed?

Try lugging around an Asus G73 gaming laptop around for weeks The cMBP is not all that heavy, especially not the 13" model. And its not all that much thicker then the rMBP. I agree with most of the people on this thread about getting a 13" regular MBP. It will be cheaper, have more storage, it will take up the same desk space as the other computers, its just less than 1/4 of an inch thicker (if that).

true true true. Get a regular 13 inch.

i think many countries are quite lax on the maximum limit if you show em the laptop.

I carried my MBP 15 in a backpack around Europe for 6 weeks. An MBA would have been much more convenient (but I was also in the process of taking about 80 GB worth of photos (raw) and flash is expensive).
