Hey guys, I got a series 2 Watch, my first Apple Watch just over a week ago, I'm liking it for the most part but one little thing is of slight concern.

I don't normally use the Mouse faces but when I use the tap to talk on the Mickey or Minnie watch face quite often there will be a break in the audio of what they are saying, it's always a split second at just after the beginning of either them saying the time or most often at the beginning of them saying something after the time, like "Good afternoon" or whatever.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm assuming it's a bug, maybe something to do with the caching of the audio files or whatever as if I keep tapping it plays just fine, only if I've moved away from that watch face for some time and come back to it will it likely happen again.

Anyway, just thought I'd ask as just want to check my watch is ok.

First off, no trolling intent just being curious that someone would use this feature...

When or in which occasion do you actually use it?

My 3 year old daughter loves this feature. She asks to press Mickey to hear the time. It is cute and it is teaching her about time.
Awww, that makes, of course, a whole lot of sense. (One could tell I have no kids -.-). Sweet!
:)

As I said in my post I don't normally use that face or feature but if something doesn't work as intended it is still annoying and is a concern that there might be a deeper problem with the device. So, just checking there's nothing really wrong with my Watch.

Yes, I'm still experiencing this. The real question is, is there anyone who uses the Mickey face but has never encountered the "crackle". My guess it's a hardware issue and Apple is not taking responsibility

How is the Mickey face on the series 3? (I liked using the face on trips to Disneyland....in fact thats's pretty much the only time I think I used it)

On my series 0, the battery drain was pretty substantial. I'd use it in the morning, but had to switch to modular after a couple of hours because of the drain.

My two-year-old loves this feature. Toy Story toy box face as well.

And to answer the OP’s question, I experience the audio cutting out with the Mickey face on my S2, but only on the first tap. Beyond that, Mickey’s voice is fine. Has happened since the first day I purchased it over a year ago.

Same - to entertain my 3 year old niece. She was most disappointed that neither Woody or Buzz speak though!
