HomePod Is midnight the same colour as space grey for the new HomePod?

Midnight is generally a dark blue if you go by all the other Apple products colored in midnight.

Right? That’s what I’m suspicious about. Luckily they still have white.
I bought both. But I intend to keep four, I just don’t want coloured HomePods.
next will be moonlight, twilight and daylight
I’m guessing that in the daytime with the blinds open and the sunlight pouring in that they’ll look dark blue. But they’ll look black in any other light.
Midnight blue is the best color for me : really hope AirPods Max 2 in midnight blue soft leather ( à la Bowers & Wilkins Px8 007 edition )

The Midnight looks very nice. It stands out compare to the 1st gen space gray.
I don’t really need my HomePod to stand from the other generation, but my entire media setup is black, so blue would stand out and be in the home style I want.
But that image doesn’t look bad at all. I’ll confirm in person when I get it.
The darker colours have the best coloured lights.

Looks nice.
It’s not too noticeable, but I feel like it will be when put against my fully black setup 😂
Especially in direct sunlight. I need to see that.

Yes sir! It turns blue when it’s under ☀️sunlight or in a bright room 💡. However, it turns black when there’s no sunlight. I’m not going to lie it is a little heavy. But sounds amazingly good. Deeper bass. 🥳

Wow that coloured tint becomes obvious with a black background
I love it and it is a very cool color. Kind of hard to get the navy/midnight tint photographed with this iPhone 14 Pro Max. Here it is next to my AppleTv. I can’t wait to get a second one in the next few days.
