Is MPB i5 quad core?

I know that normally the MPB i5 is a duo core, however in the activity monitor, under CPU usage, I see 4 cores. Am I dreaming?

It has hyper threading: 2 real cores, 2 virtual.

if you had a real quad core hyerthreading i5, you would see 8 total cores.

The new Mac Pros with 12 cores that are real, hyperthreads to 24 cores.
