cocountbattery seems to be messed up, how can your current charge be more than your capacity?
Do you know how coconut battery works?
Oh i realise now its showing 99% of potential capacity, sorry, and to answer your question 89% capacity is rather amazing for a laptop nearly 3 years old, most batteries would be on about 40 - 50% now so you've looked after it well.
Looks fairly reasonable for a battery of that age to me.
The battery is like 3 months old.
It may be bad, but it is too early to tell. Just use it how you would normally do and run it through a couple calibrations over the next couple months. If a problem pops up you will know. Just don't go putting 300 cycles on it in the next couple months and Apple should replace it if it does decide to go south.
Within the last 3 cycles on my battery I have gone from 97% health to 99% and now I sit at 92%. If it drops into the 80's and stays there, or plummets below, that is when I will worry.
Gonna show you mine (Late 08 MBP)... and the 2nd battery cycle is from calibrating the machine.
