Hello people, I was just wondering if my Macbook Pro 13' (2010) battery is currently healthy? It has the health of 95% and 95 cycles. I purchased it 2 months ago (October)

The battery is fine, mine is 19 weeks old(mid August), 64 cycles and is currently at 96%. At one time it was over 100%, changes all the time. Personally, im not worried about it, I have done some research and you can buy the batteries online if you look in the right places not POSITIVE that they are apple but its a battery and I plan on buying Applecare this July or August anyway.

Here comes the post from GXXStudio with the battery FAQ link :)

You probably know this but if you are going to do AppleCare and you replace the battery on your own, you are wasting your money as you will usually void all expressed and implied warranties.

Also, be very careful when buying a non-Apple battery, as it can be hazardous and cost far more than a few hundred dollars down the line.

95 cycles in two months!? Wow, that's a lot of computing!

I'm sitting at 96% and 21 cycles right now. Seems crappy, but I'm not worried about it...like others have said, it changes a lot.

Well ofcourse Apple will fix it first...then me :)

I have had a 15" Macbook Pro for about 5 months or a bit more and when its fully charged the battery is at 100%

GJStudios will post the notebook battery guide any minute now... But heres my battery... 94% health with 53 cycles... 7 month old MBP

I HAVE calibrated. Recently.

But I'm a heavy college user and I don't keep it plugged in all the time, so I'm high on cycles. Also, when I option-click the battery icon, it states normal, so while I'm not happy about the percentage number, I'm not taking it in until that status changes or closer to the one year ownership date.
