Is my battery still good?

It has been dying pretty quickly lately...so just wanted to make sure everything was alright.
Oh...sorry.
Brightness= one tick less than full
Wi-Fi= ON
Blutooth= ON
Anything else needed?
I have the new 13 macbook pro (with new battery) and I get 6 hrs out of mine if i surf the net and then watch a movie (video 2:30 hrs and internet around 3 hrs)
Thats with brightness on the 3rd notch and my backlit keyboard off
But if I rip a DVD using handbrake I only get 1 1/2 hrs!!!! with the brightness on 6th notch and the keyboard off.

Coconut Battery.
Quantify "pretty quickly" ? 15 minutes? 1 hour?
What else are you running while on battery? Intensive programs require more power and will drain the battery faster.

That's because a) optical drives draw a lot of power, and b) while ripping your computer's processor is running at 100%.
It seems as though the battery is good once again. It started working well out of no were. I am calibrating it as I type this though, just to make sure.🙂
