Is my G5 1.8 single officially out-of-date?

I use a 1.5ghz G4 PowerBook as my main computer.

This includes:
AIM
Internet
Music
Some Video Editing
Photoshop
Lots of iPhoto
etc

and I find it works just fine. I use my friends macbook all the time and I don't find that my PowerBook is slow and outdated.


Personally I would do better things with my money then upgrade to a computer that can render a video 5 seconds faster.

Question: Is my G5 Out of date?

Answer: It was out of date the minute Apple announced they were switching to Intel processors.

You know you may not like that answer, but its the honest to God truth. This dosent mean its "Slow" or "Garbage" It just means that newer tech has replaced it.
