Resolved Is my Internal DVD broken?

I wonder if my internal DVD is broken or dirty, if is dirty is possible to clean, or what should I do?

There are DVD/CD cleaning kits, might be worth a try.

Internal DVD/CD drives have a not-so-good reliability level.

If nothing can revive it, you might consider an external USB DVD/CD drive. They're quite cheap.
