Is My Iphone Dead?

I was talking on the phone and then bam it said called failed. I go back to call again and a message pops up saying my iphone needed repairs....I couldn't take a screen shot because the phone cut off. The device had half a bar of battery.

also my charge indicator is messed up its showing a full charge even though my phone just cut off on me
