Is my iPhone infected?

Hi all,
Earlier today I was watching a film online on my iPhone 7 (ios11.4.1). Website was 123movies I believe. Few popups opened in new tabs but I closed all.

Anyway, as I was watching my phone became hot and battery was draining quick. Since then my battery has been draining quicker than usual and phone has been warm to touch.

I’ve reset network settings, hard resetted phone, and cleared safari history and data.

Is it possible my device has a virus of some sort?

Fair enough. What could explain my phone’s behaviour then?
Was fine before I started watching that film..
