Bluetooth works fine on my MBP, because I use it to download pictures I have taken with my phone and put new music/ringtones/videos on my phone.

But for some strange reason, my MBP can't connect to my iPod Touch. I have the 3rd generation 32 gb.

Is bluetooth on my iPod Touch broken? It says that the iPod doesn't have the necessary tools to make a bluetooth connection.

I never jailbroken it or did anything funny with it btw.

the bluetooth on the touch is only for things like using bluetooth headphones and such. I don't believe it supports the protocols that you think it does.

I was afraid of this:(

So everytime I have to look for my USB cable if I want to add new music/pictures or whatever.

Yep. It's the same deal with the iPhone too - Apple has absolutely crippled it when it comes to bluetooth when compared to other phones and handhelds.
