Ive read here that some MBP screens have a graininess issue. Mine is a 17" 2.4 SR with the 1920 rez screen, matte. I have leopard installed and use the Japanese house in the forest as my background from the pre installed backgrounds. If I look at the white sky in the upper left corner of the photo while the laptop is on my lap, I see speckles and grain, almost like a layer of dust is covering the screen.
