In both my iPhone 12 mini and SE 2, if the phone has been idle long enough, maybe a day, when invoking Siri or switching the ringer off, I can feel and hear a rough click with the Taptic Engine. Most of the time, it is gentle, but sometimes it gets louder when it makes the click noise.
Could the motors become stuck from not using it much? Neither of these phones are my main phone. It does not happen either on my 12, 13 Pro, Air, or any other phone.
