Is my unopened iphone 5c unlocked?

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to search for an answer for a while now and maybe I just suck at finding the right information...

But I was wondering if my iPhone 5c is unlocked. I was recently on a cruise vacation and happened to win this phone from their arcade game "Barber cut". Pretty much cut the string with a small razor for 1$ per try.

Anyway I'm looking to sell it since I have no need for it but I need to know more about it before I can.

Oh and I have opened the seal so if there is anyway to check on the phone physically without peeling the screen plastic, someone please let me know

I hate to break it to you. Might as well plug it in to iTunes and check. You broke the seal. As far as any potential buyer is concerned it is potentially used.

Without the seal they have know way of knowing.

Will it tell me the provider or if it is unlocked through itunes?
