Is Network Activation a one-time process? (Sprint iPhone X)

Hi everyone!

I have just activated the Sprint iPhone X which wanted zip-code and pin etc, phone was bought sim free because it is going to be used abroad.

I wondered if it will ever ask for this Sprint Activation if erased in the future, or is this a one time process?
