Is now a good time to buy refurb?

I've decided for a few reasons to go for a 4th Gen refurb iPad rather than an iPad Air.

Is now a good time to buy a refurb or will they get cheaper come Friday?

Refurbs don't typically drop in price after being introduced. I was looking at 17" 2011 MacBook Pro models a few months ago and they were the same price as they were when they first hit the outlet.
