It says it is, but wondering if it's slower/etc compared to factory? It's MUCH cheaper!

Just as the previous poster said works perfectly. I am running 32GB of OWC RAM in my imac right now - no issues and running at correct speeds.

I have 16GB of OWC RAM in my 2010 27" iMac and I haven't had any problems at all.

Migration Assistant is used to move data from one computer to another. Usually you would run it on a new machine when you unbox to move data from your old computer to the new one.

Time Machine is Apple's built in backup software.
