On a regular basis I need to be able to keep my sketches and measurements with me, preferably on my phone. The ONLY thing that entices me away from the platform is the stylus on the Note.

I do 90% of my initial concept work on my iPad Pro, and I love the Pencil.

But I can't bring my iPad with me everywhere. I bought an iPad mini, and that almost works, but it's just slightly too large and I still have to carry my phone with me.

These capacitance styluses, even the active ones, just don't cut it when it comes to accuracy on the phone. I believe I've bought every active stylus on the market. They just don't get the precision part, and it's just plain infuriating.

New features for the iPhone lately have been super useless to me. I use my phone as a note repo 10x more than I ever take photos with it. An iPhone 6+ with a real stylus would provide more utility to me than the iPhone X or later.

The thing is, I really, really can't stand the Android OS.

Is there any hope for the Pencil finally showing up on a new iPhone model?

Not going to happen in the near future. Maybe 2022.

Highly unlikely.

many have tried to duplicate the note line to compare with samsung but it’s very hard to do with a lot of money needed to resource this kind of tech

I've been asking for this feature for Years. Pretty much ever since I switched back to Apple in 2014.

I think Apple would rather you buy an iPad Mini and Pencil to take with you than turn the iPhone into a Note wannabe...

I could be wrong though...sometimes happens

It's even more relevant now that many of us are working from home and might not have printers.

I’m not sure, but I personally use my iPad way more often at home than my iPhone. I get the usefulness of the pencil absolutely, but I’m not sure how good it would work on such a small screen for my uses.

Makes sense. I’m more of a MacBook person.

I just don't see Apple going in this direction with the iPhone any time soon. The Galaxy Note line is really the undisputed king when it comes to the stylus/smartphone combo, and Samsung really created the hardware and software with that functionality in mind.

I’ll just add that if Apple were ever to implement an Apple pencil built-in to the iPhone, similar to what Samsung has for the Note Series, I would pay double to have that phone. That’s the one thing Samsung has excited right over the iPhone.

Find using a stylus on a mobile phone to be cumbersome. Hand and fingers block the whole screen and it feels awkward.

Same here! I'd gladly pay $2k for an Apple phone with a real stylus.

Just being able to keep all my work on the phone would be worth more than that to me.

Samsung can’t even have S Pen on their fold devices yet, it is going to be a few years before anything like this is remotely possible.
