Is Photo Stream end to end encrypted?

We all know, that Apple (and potentially others) is able to see your iCloud Photos.

Does this apply to the photo stream feature? Or is it end to end since you can only access it from your own devices (and not via icloud.com).

Apple is not telling anything about privacy and security on its website.
